Disneyland September 2009

I went to Disneyland with Derek in September 2009. It was a lot of fun, and a much needed break from staying at home and doing next to nothing. We had a great time, and wish we could go again soon!

Japan October/November 2009

Mom, Marie, and I went to Japan at the end of October 2009 to visit family in Tokyo. My grandma had suffered a stroke, so we all rushed over there to make sure she was doing ok. It turns out that she is going to be ok. Here are some pictures that I took while we were there.

Yes, they sell celery by the stalk...

At the bread store you can pick up all kinds of yummy pastries and breads. This one happens to be shaped like a bear =)

Brooklyn February 2009

Hi Folks,
It's been a while since I've been to a place where I was able to take pictures. I did go to So Cal in October 2008 to Disneyland with Derek, but we didn't get a chance to take that many pictures.

So here I am about 5 months later updating my blog with the adventure that I took recently. I went to NYC 14-16 February 2009 to visit my college roommate Amy B and her newborn Brielle. My friends Lili and Jenni (my roommate neighbors from Mudd) also came along to visit the new baby girl.

While we were there we admired the 2.5 month old, and got to hang out and eat some yummy food. We wandered around Brooklyn mostly, but it was a good time to catch up and spend sometime with each other.

The reason why we made the trip: baby Brielle. She was sleeping peacefully some of the time. Other times, she wasn't so peaceful. =) She was a little noisy when she did her business, and let us know when she was uncomfortable or hungry, but cute and sweet throughout =)

Lili and Brielle say "YAY!"

Waiting outside Grimaldi's Pizza in Brooklyn. We got there around noon. Within 5 minutes of getting there, the line was at least 15 people long. Good thing we beat the crowd!!

Amy, Jenni, and Lili waiting patiently for food!

Jenni was a little bit cold waiting outside Grimaldi's Pizza. Amy seemed to be fine =)

Yumm....Roasted pepper, onion, and garlic pizza. I'm sure our breath smelled amazing!!!
