While visiting this castle south of Munich, I was waiting for the my tour group number to be called to be able to tour inside the castle and the grounds. I overheard a group of students, and realized that they were speaking American English. I went up to them, and introduced myself. I said that I was from San Francisco, CA. One of girls said that a girl in their group was from San Francisco, but that she was in the bathroom. However, she came back that instant, and I recognized her. You're "Mari's younger sister!", and she said "you're my sister's friend!" So as it turns out, I met Komaki Ueno in Neuschwanstein Germany. She was there for fun with her friends while studying abroad at the University of Siena. It was a random meeting, and it made me realize that it's a small world after all.
These are pics from Neuschwanstein in Dec 2003
View from Mary's bridge. It's postcard perfect!
If we go there, climb Mary's bridge, it's definitely worth the trip
