In February, I took some time off of my internship at adidas, (I really think accruing at least 2 days off a month should become a standard in a month in American culture), and I traveled from Munich to Salzburg to Vienna to Budapest to Prague to Munich in a week with Mom and Auntie. Mom flew in from San Francisco, and Auntie flew in from Tokyo. We did all of our traveling via train, and did the touristy things
First off, Salzburg:
The home of the Sound of Music and Mozart. It is also where my cell phone got stolen/lost/misplaced. It is also where delicious desserts await. =) The Mozart home is a really good museum. We didn't want to spend the big bucks to go on a Sound of Music tour, but we did go to the garden where they filmed all the garden scenes from the movie (including the gazebo where she sings "sixteen going on seventeen".
